Mark your calendars for November 7, 2026, because Gumbo Fest is returning to Orange Beach, Alabama! CoastAL Orange Beach is getting ready to bring the community together for a day centered around one of the Gulf Coast’s favorite comfort foods: gumbo. Whether you’re ready to compete, taste your way through the competition, or simply enjoy a fun Orange Beach event, Gumbo Fest 2026 is one you won’t want to miss.


We’re Rouxing It Again

Gumbo Fest brings teams together to put their own spin on this classic Southern dish. Teams of three will compete by preparing their signature gumbo for guests to taste and enjoy.


For those ready to enter the competition, team tickets are now on sale!  The team entry fee is $150. Each team must prepare a minimum of 7 gallons of gumbo. Team entry includes three official Gumbo Fest T-shirts, a $100 Rouses Market gift card, and a CoastAL gift bag. It’s the perfect excuse to gather your friends, family, coworkers, or fellow gumbo enthusiasts and create a team of your own. Click here to purchase team tickets!

Gumbo Fest tasting tickets go on sale Monday, September 7, 2026, at 9 AM CT.

Once tickets are available, guests can look forward to experiencing the different flavors and recipes created by competing Gumbo Fest teams.
